I just downloaded a lot of music. Gotta love torrents. I’d probably purchase more music if I lived somewhere where I had access to purchasing the hardcopy (I don’t want to pay $.99 per song from iTunes… if I’m gonna pay, I want the real thing), but since I’m at the bottom of the world… it doesn’t happen. Whenever I go to the US, I do pick up my favorite cds at the moment to show my support to the bands.

Other than that, not much is new. On Saturday night, I went to Sensation-White and it was simply amazing. There’s no other words to put it in. Even though the music wasn’t exactly to my liking (I prefer psychedelic over progressive trance), all the DJs playing were great, especially Armin Van Buuren (Yes, the #1 DJ in the world was there!). I’ll get some pictures up eventually. Maybe I should make a flickr, but I’m too lazy. Figures.

I know there’s two problems with the site at the moment: some pages returning in blank pages (comment form, for example), and that for some reason or another, mobilegreen.org brings up this site and www.mobilegreen.org is blank. It’s pretty annoying… I’m working on fixing it at the moment.

Yesterday was so fucking all over the place. I’m not sure there’s another way to describe it. Well it started out as a normal day and I drove to school like I do on Fridays. I was talking to Ana and mentioned I had the car so she’s like, “Hey! Let’s ask for permission to go to the mall during lunch and grab food and the food court!”. We managed to get permission and after Calculus we left to the mall. We got everything just fine and then we were driving out of the mall underground parking lot. It was around the area where people take the escalator going to the mall, so there was quite a few people walking to and from their cars. So I’m turning around a corner to go towards the exit and the car in front of me stops. I stop within reasonable distance (I hate when people are up my ass when driving) and see that there was a person crossing. All of sudden, once the person that was crossing left sight, the car in front just begins backing up for no reason. And it’s not stopping. I started freaking out and look at Ana so I begin beeping the horn and just pushing it down. Well, she ended up hitting me anyways. So I was obviously pissed (takes a lot to get me angry), so I park the car and pop out.

I call up my mom and walk to front of the car; at least the damage was minimal, small dent. There were two cars behind me and they wouldn’t stop beeping. I went up to the person behind me and did some angry sign with my arm and yelled to them, “¡PUTA, ME CHOCARON EL AUTO!” (”FUCK/WHORE, THEY JUST CRASHED MY CAR!” in English). I know I shouldn’t have parked in the corner like that, so I told the person who bumped into me to move forward so we wouldn’t block traffic. Ended up getting all the lady’s information down for insurance purposes. I was trembling I was so nervous and everything. We go back to school and arrive like 20 mins late to class. Not that it really mattered, since it was Franco (Spanish teacher, he’s pretty chill). I had to go to the principal anyhow and explain the whole thing or I could be counted as skipping class and getting Saturday detention. Which is no fun. At this time, the weather was kinda funky outside, especially for it being summer around here. It had been grey and drizzling earlier.

I had to go to the police to report the accident. Took about 30 mins. After that, I went home, checked some downloads, grabbed a can of Redbull (Amazing stuff :heart:), and had to run off to go pick up my mom at her office cause we were getting our hair done. There was a shit load of traffic, but I got to my mom’s office and the hair salon in time (gotta schedule a time and date at the place we go to). I cut my hair and I LOVE it. It’s amazing. It’s kinda the same hair cut as I had before, but I cut the back more layered and shorter and lightened up the fringe a bit. Next week, I’m going to dye my hair… I’m thinking blonde and orange. I want colorful hair! Anyways, my mom was dyeing her hair so she took longer and told me to go home in a cab since she was gonna be there for 2 more hours. On the way home, there was tons more traffic and the wind was blowing really strong and it was raining.

So the time passes and it’s pretty much dark outside. I noticed that the lights were flickering for the past few minutes and I get an msn message from Marinna saying “Can you see the lightning and hear the thunder?”, so I open the curtains and there’s lightning. It’s extremely rare to see lightning around here, especially during summer. So I was just staring out the window looking at the lights in the sky and all a sudden I hear the rain coming down really loudly. It was hailing. Not normal hail, but BIG ASS HAILS. So I go out the balcony in the living room and you could really see how it was just pouring down… I’ve never seen it fall this fast, this hard, and this big. It was incredible. Once most of the hail ceased, everything was covered in white outside. It looked like snow. I got some on film, but I don’t know how to pass it to the computer. I call up my mom to tell her about this and she told me she was stuck in traffic in Estoril/Las Condes cause it was just flooded (at least half a meter apparently) and all the lights were out. It’s also quite hard to get the city flooded… which means a shit load of rain. About 30 mins later (Estoril is about 10 mins from where I live), she got home and told me she had gotten hit by a car as well. The street was completely flooded and there was a ditch in the road so the car got stuck in it. The car behind her didn’t stop, so it bumped her. Oh well, she said there was no damage. I’m gonna go check later. So we ate dinner and I had another Redbull, which was stupid, cause then I couldn’t sleep and made me an extra-light sleeper.
